The Trouble with Wanting by Jillian Liota is my first-read novel by this author and it is the first novel in the Cedar Point book series. This is Jillian’s 8th published novel. Where has she been hiding all my life? Jillian’s writing is fabulous and she grips the reader by the heartstrings.
This is a perfect summer read. You know what makes me rate a book with 5 stars? A book deserves a 5 star based on the quality of the storyline, and of course, if the book made my heart pitter-patter. The Trouble with Wanting did all of that and more. The story is sweet and steamy with great writing and awesome characters. This author has quickly become a favorite of mine with this one book. Great characters, great story line, great flow and a great setting at a beautiful lake town in California.
The chemistry between Boyd and Ruby was so apparent from the very first time they sit down in the airplane. Boyd is the perfect guy for Ruby, so sweet, attentive, and loving.
I love love this story and definitely recommend it to everyone!
Of course, now I cannot wait for book # 2 , The Opposite of Falling, to be released so I can devour it in one sitting, as I did with this first book of the Cedar Point series.

Jillian Liota is a new author writing contemporary romance and new adult fiction. She lives in Kailua, Hawaii with her amazing husband, 2 cats, and 3-legged pup.
