Renegade Hearts was my first read from Nikki and I was not disappointed in the very least. This book is the first book in the Rebels of Sandland series and it had everything I wanted and needed.
I seriously could not put this book down. All of the characters were amazing, except Emily’s obnoxious parents, obviously!!

The story starts with Emily turning 18 And attending her birthday party, thrown by her extravagantly rich parents. Her dad is a government official in Britain and her mom is a trophy wife whose had to much plastic surgery done to herself.
Besides her best friends, Effy and Liv, she feels as though she has no one to really turn to since her brother died tragically in a car accident.
I loved her and Ryan’s interactions, super emotional and raw in both ends. They’re so cute, and are obviously my favorite part of this book.
Ryan is the perfect bad boy, bad and nice at the same time. The way he treats Emily makes me so very happy inside. He creates some of the sweetest and cutest moments in this story. Seriously, I love him so much even though everyone thinks he’s a black sheep.
Emily and Ryan’s banters had me craving more. I could not get enough of them, absolutely incredible. They had some of the most perfect tender moments in the story.
Can’t wait for book # 2 of the Rebels of Sandland series. The wait is so overwhelming.
