The Untouchables. That’s what everyone calls them. At least, it’s my best friend’s nickname for them. And since she’s the only one that talks to me at my new school, I’ll take her word for it. The nickname probably comes from the fact that they’re exorbitantly wealthy. Old wealth. The kind that isn’t flaunted around. But you can tell by the way they carry themselves. Or maybe the name just refers to the fact that they’re so beautiful it’s almost hard to look at them. No matter the reason for their nickname, it’s an ironic one. Because I’ve only been going to this school for a week and I already want to touch.

What can I begin to say about this book? It is simply breathtaking and the plot grips you from page 1. This book literally had me hooked from Page 1. Ivy Smoak really knows how to grab the reader's attention and make you fall in love with the main characters from the very beginning. I can honestly say that not that many authors know how to grip the reader’s attention from the very beginning with wit and enthusiasm in their writing, but Ivy does. I just finished this book and it is fresh in my mind and I already want Book # 2, please.
What an amazing author Ivy Smoak is. I enjoyed this book from the very beginning, and it was so much more than I expected. I could NOT put it down! The characters were true to themselves throughout the entire book and the story line kept you wanting more. 5/5 stars for me and I am not one to liberally give 5 stars to any books. This year I have read one other novel I gave 5 stars to and that was The Last Mrs. Parrish, and now I give Empire High Untouchables 5 stars as well.
I have begun to recommend this book to everyone in my Bookstagram account, as well as my everyday friends via text. I cannot wait for Book # 2 to be released. This book brought tears to my eyes, made my heart beat for a long time throughout the scenes with Brooklyn and Matt, and of course, made me laugh with Kennedy's antics. This book has it all and I cannot rave about it enough. It is not sexually explicit at all and it is a high school love story of a poor girl falling in love with a high school millionaire jock, what is there not to love?
YOU MUST PICK up this book today! 5/5 stars or 10/10 stars. I would give this book 100 stars if I could.
Ms. Ivy Smoak, you are one of my favorite authors right now! Empire High Untouchables is the first book I have ever read written by you and it will definitely not be my last. ou and will definitely not be my last. Thank you for allowing me to read and review your book. It has brought so much joy and tears!
