This is the love story between Angelica and Deacon. They first met when Angelica arrived in Texas and they were both 15 years old. It was love at first sight for these two!!
Angelica’s mom has just passed away and she was sent to live with her uncle and cousin in Texas. After her arrival in Texas, a week later her brother leaves her to go back to Mexico.
Years pass and Angelica and Deacon continue to pursue their love for one another even though there is a rivalry between both families.
All Deacon wants now is to make his Angel his permanently, to marry her. But when Angel finally agrees to introduce him to her family, things don’t exactly go well. Things get really heavy once her brother comes back to town and wants her to never see Deacon again or he will kill him, otherwise.
What is Angelica to do if Deacon is the only love she’s ever known?But true love is stronger than any misguided hatred. They will find a way to make things right and to be together forever.
What I love about this book was that Angel and Deacon’s love was so strong between them. They would go to any means and ways to be together. I loved how Deacon fought for her, the way he would do anything to make her happy. The ending was beautiful. These two really were perfect for each other in every way. This is a sweet, sexy and very intense love story between two people who have to fight against everyone they hold dear to find a way to be with each other. This is the story of a man, looking through their family’s history, to make amends for all the wrongs made in the past by their ancestors, so that his future will include the girl that stole his heart all those years ago with one reckless kiss.
Reckless Kiss will take you on an emotional rollercoaster of a mysterious family feud, forbidden love, and overcoming hatred/prejudices.
I highly recommend you add this book to your TBR. I have given it 5 Stars!! Tia Louise is a master storyteller and captures all of your senses in her writing skills.
