Yami's Bookshelf 5 Stars Review for Empire High Elite I really don’t know what to say except OMG! Ivy clearly blew this one out of the ballpark. I’ve been waiting for this second book for months and it seriously didn’t disappoint at all. It was full of emotions, angst, and a Hot New Guy!! Here are my thoughts: Brooklyn: she’s clearly hurting and confused, but I am still vouching for her and Matt to have their HEA!! Perhaps in Book 3?!? Please, Ivy, make this happen. Matt: He loves Brooklyn so much but he’s still being manipulated by vicious Isabella! I can’t with the love story these two have, but at the same time they can’t. Isabella: horrid specimen of a human being. I can’t with her nastiness!! And she married James in The Hunted series! Why did she get James? She’s so evil and manipulative. I hate her soo much for making Brooklyn so sad and miserable. She’s just horrible and plain evil! New Guy: superb secret, which I just cannot tell you about. It’s so awesome though. You have to read this to understand what I’m talking about. The ending: I just can’t with this cliffhanger of an ending. January January 14th cannot come enough. Can this third book be released sooner, please? This was such a great second book in the Empire High series! Ivy did such an amazing job in writing this second book and giving us, her fervent readers, exactly what we need and want. I was given an ARC for my honest opinion by Ivy Smoak. Thank you so much for showing me what a great writer and author you truly are!! The way you intertwine your characters, within other series in this universe you created, clearly shows your intellect and storytelling capabilities.
If you are reading this blog now, you need to pick up your copy of Empire High Untouchables and continue with this second book. Superbly written!
